What we did:
- Made fingerprint people by:
- Making fingerprints with tempera paint cakes, or
- Making fingerprint shapes with tempera paint sticks or markers
- Then adding eyes, mouths, hair, arms, and legs using pens and markers
- Also adding hats, skateboards, jungle gyms, swings, and slides
- Mixed the color orange from red and yellow tempera cakes
- When mixing paints, remember to add the darker color to the lighter color, just a little bit at a time. You can always add more, but you can’t take away paint.
Homework:
Make the color green by mixing blue and yellow tempera cake colors.
