What we did:
- We made different kinds of lines: straight, curved, wavy, zig-zag, bumpy, smooth, scratchy, messy, dotted, dashed
- We made thick and thin lines
- We made thick lines four ways: with a thick marker, with multiple thin lines next to each other, with a thin marker zig-zagging back and forth, and with a thin marker scribbling little loops.
- We drew striped T-shirts and skirts
- We drew borders and frames using our different kinds of lines.
- We learned how to make an asterisk star.
- We learned how to make a Happy Birthday card with a border.
Homework:
Paste Ari’s happy birthday card drawing onto card stock to make it into a real card.
